Martin G. Marron

He joined JPMorgan in 1992 in Argentina and worked in NY from 1997 to 2001, initially as an external debt market maker and later he became the Head of External Debt for Latin America. 

In 2001 he moved back to Argentina where he was the Head of Local Markets. He then moved to Brazil in May 2002 also as Head of Local Markets of the Brazil Office, where he managed a group of 20 professionals in the areas of trading, sales and research. He represented the bank as a Director before the Central Bank and other regulators. 

In 2006 he was appointed Co-Senior Country Officer of the Brazil JPMorgan Office, and in 2007 he was named Head of Sales and Trading, including Local Markets in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and the trading and sales teams in New York.  

Martin holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before joining JPMorgan, he worked at Price Waterhouse, Credit Lyonnais and Citibank for a number of years.

Mr. Marron was elected to the EMTA Board in October 2007.
