RODOLFO FISCHER Itau BBA
Rodolfo Fischer is Executive Vice President of the Treasury and Financial Markets Area of Banco Itaú S/A since May 2004, a new structure resulting from the merge of the former International and Financial Areas.
Mr. Fischer first joined the bank in 1982 as a trainee, and in 1991 was appointed General Manager of the Exchange and Foreign Trade Department. In 1994 he was promoted to Managing Director and in 1999 he became the Executive Director of the Financial Area. In 2003 Mr. Fischer was appointed Executive Vice President.
Mr. Fischer is also Executive Director of Banco Itaú Holding Financeira S/A, Member of the Board of Directors of Banco Itaú BBA S/A, Executive Vice President of Banco Itaú Buen Ayre in Argentina, Member of the Board of Instituto Itaú Cultural, Member of the Board of BM&F – Brazilian Futures Exchange and President of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Interbank Payment Chamber.
Mr. Fischer has a degree in Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (USP) and is Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)-Sloan School.
Mr. Fischer was elected to the EMTA Board in January 2006.
